Event One — Log Press Challenge

The 2025 World’s Strongest Woman started off with the Log Press Challenge. Therefore, the athletes got to pick between lifting 195-lb (88.5-kg), 225-lb (102-kg), and 250-lb (113.5-kg) for as many reps as possible. However, even just one repetition with the heavier log ranked higher than any number of reps with the lighter one.

Andrea Thompson held the Log Lift World Record at one point in her career, which made her the frontrunner for the win in the opening event of the competition. As expected, she picked up the heaviest log and proceeded to lock out four repetitions. This turned out to be the winning number, allowing Andrea to get off to an early lead.

Destiny Bass was one rep short of Andrea’s tally, which put her in second place. On the other hand, Katie Blunden, Jackie Rhodes, and Nadia Stowers completed two reps with the heaviest log, and ended up in a tie for third place.

Jackie Rhodes was the quickest among the Strongwomen, having reached the end of the course in just 19.24 seconds. She narrowly beat Jammie Booker, who finished exactly one second behind her. The duo was significantly quicker than the rest of the athletes, as Andrea Thompson rounded up the top three with a time of 24.89 seconds.

  • Patricia Smit — 80-ft 10-in
  • Katie Blunden — 4-ft 10-in

Event Three — Deadlift Ladder

The third event brought the deadlift exercise. Specifically, the competitors had to perform a series of four deadlifts. The weight of the bars was 495-lb (224.5-kg), 525-lb (238.1-kg), 565-lb (256.3-kg), and 600-lb (272.2-kg). The main goal was to reach the end, but the athletes were then ranked based on the time needed to perform a certain number of reps.

Andrea Thompson put in another dominant performance, showcasing tremendous pulling power, great transitions, and perfect technique. She was the only athlete to complete the entire event, as the majority of the roster struggled to pull 600 pounds (272.2 kilograms). So, Andrea extended her overall lead.

Allira-Joy Cowley was exceptionally quick, having cruised through the first few deadlifts but then got stuck on the final bar. So, Cowley finished in second place with a time of 27.22 seconds to complete three lifts. Ally Latemore was 2 seconds slower than Cowley and placed third.

  • Andrea Thompson — 4 in 20.36 seconds
  • Allira-Joy Cowley — 3 in 27.22 seconds
  • Elly Latemore — 3 in 29.91 seconds
  • Destiney Bass — 3 in 33.79 seconds
  • Jammie Booker — 3 in 35.20 seconds
  • Jackie Rhodes — 3 in 38.01 seconds
  • Patricia Smit — 3 in 42.51 seconds
  • Jackie Osczevski — 2 in 17.77 seconds
  • Nadia Stowers — 2 in 19.75 seconds
  • Katie Blunden — 2 in 39.32 seconds

Event Four — Sandbag Steeplechase

As the athletes proceeded to the second half of the 2025 World’s Strongest Woman competition, they faced the Sandbag Steeplechase event. It consisted of two sandbags weighing 225 pounds (102 kilograms) and 250 pounds (113.4 kilograms), both of which had to be carried for 25 feet and then loaded over a 42-inch-high beam. Time was used as the separator once again.

Three athletes managed to complete the entire event, but Allira-Joy Cowley was by far the quickest among them. She needed just 47.76 seconds to carry and load the sandbags, which marked another impressive result for her at the competition.

Jackie Osczevski managed to break into second place with a time of 51.16 seconds. Jamie Booker was the only other woman that reached the finish line, doing so just 0.5 seconds before the time limit ran out.

  • Allira-Joy Cowley — 4 in 47.76 seconds
  • Jackie Osczevski — 4 in 51.16 seconds
  • Jammie Booker — 4 in 59.45 seconds
  • Katie Blunden — 3 in 33.23 seconds
  • Patricia Smit — 3 in 51.61 seconds
  • Elly Latemore — 3 in 56.54 seconds
  • Andrea Thompson — 1 in 9.85 seconds
  • Nadia Stowers — 1 in 14.30 seconds
  • Jackie Rhodes — 1 in 35.87 seconds
  • Destiney Bass — 1 in 51.50 seconds

Event Five — Mammoth Circus Dumbbell Ladder

The second-to-last challenge of the 2025 World’s Strongest Woman was the Dumbbell Ladder. Similar to an earlier deadlift event, the athletes had to lift four implements once again. So, they had to overhead press 110-lb (49.9-kg), 120-lb (54.4-kg), 140-lb (63.5-kg), and 160-lb (72.6-kg). The time limit was set to one minute.

Being an overhead pressing event, Andrea Thompson found herself at the top of the leaderboards once again. In a near-identical scenario to the Log Challenge, Andrea was once again the only woman that managed to lift all implements that she faced. So, she secured another convincing event win.

Jamie Booker secured a very crucial second-place finish in the Dumbbell Ladder, managing to lock out three implements in 23.43 seconds. Jackie Rhodes finished third, lifting the last implement three seconds after Booker.

  • Andrea Thompson — 4 in 39.25 seconds
  • Jammie Booker — 3 in 23.43 seconds
  • Jackie Rhodes — 3 in 26.17 seconds
  • Katie Blunden — 3 in 31.81 seconds
  • Nadia Stowers — 3 in 50.03 seconds
  • Jackie Osczevski — 2 in 21.47 seconds
  • Destiney Bass — 2 in 54.73 seconds
  • Allira-Joy Cowley — 1 in 7.66 seconds
  • Elly Latemore — 1 in 43.61 seconds
  • Patricia Smit — No Lift

Event Six — Stix and Stone ‘Natural’ Stone Series

The Strongwomen concluded the 2025 World’s Strongest Woman with a Stone Series. In turn, they had to lift four implements over a 42-inch-high beam. The weight of the implements came out to 225-lb (102.1-kg), 250-lb (113.4-kg), 275-lb (124.7-kg), and 300-lb (136.1-kg).

Jammie Booker loaded three stones, which was enough to take the event win. Moreover, seeing that Andrea Thompson only loaded one stone, she placed seventh in the event. This resulted in a major change on the overall leaderboards, as Booker officially won the competition, overtaking and beating Thompson by just one point.

  • Jammie Booker — 3 in 29.30 seconds
  • Allira-Joy Cowley — 2 in 11.49 seconds
  • Patricia Smit — 2 in 21.67 seconds
  • Katie Blunden — 2 in 23.43 seconds
  • Jackie Osczevski — 2 in 24.47 seconds
  • Nadia Stowers — 2 in 39.81 seconds
  • Andrea Thompson — 1 in 6.13 seconds
  • Elly Latemore — 1 in 7.75 seconds
  • Destiney Bass — 1 in 46.54 seconds
  • Jackie Rhodes — No Lift
